April is recognized as Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM).  In recognition of Sexual Assault Awareness Month, over the next couple of weeks, the Delaware Alliance Against Sexual Violence will lift up events, resources, and information around sexual violence.

Our mission at the Delaware Alliance Against Sexual Violence is to address Sexual Violence in Delaware by creating an inclusive community that supports survivors through advocacy, intervention, and awareness.

In Wilmington, There were 23 reported cases of rape in 2021
In Newark, There were 17 reported cases of rape in 2021
In Dover, There were 14 reported cases of rape in 2021
In Middletown, There were 4 reported cases of rape in 2021

The Delaware Network Meeting serves as the statewide sexual assault coalition meeting hosted by
DAASV. The meetings are held bi-monthly on the first Thursday of the month.

All meetings are held via
zoom from 10:00 am – Noon.
